This is the end, my friend.
As Jim Morrison once said “this is the end, my friend”. And although speaking on very different wavelengths, Jim describes our excitement for the completion of yet another premiere tour energized by Coors Light. Being able to claim “we survived” is a true feat.
Here are the 2009 tour highlights
Vernon: VDP’s alter-ego; Jerry Christ, who resurrected when VDP accidentally half-crucified himself while dancing on glass
Victoria: Collin Zwickel, nuff said
Vancouver: Blowing capacity at a 2-story venue
Penticton: Actually ‘watching’ Outdoor Graduation
Kelowna: Building the worlds largest beer funnel…then watching Speedman indulge
Edmonton: Braden and the Schwanks Hi-5 performance. And hanging with Dad 2.0
Calgary: Axe Kill freestyle battles innercity hoodlums. Axe 1: Hoodlums: 0
Banff: The Bell Star hotel in Canmore. And, “Schneider, its 8pm… control yourself”
Whistler: Stoker’s bar tab, and having our friends and family in the house.
Fernie: “Cruisin’ bitches or crucifixions?”. Jerry Christ goes into hibernation for another year.
As we put Outdoor Graduation behind us, our craniums become cluttered with ideas and visions for another 12 months of filmmaking. The road will be long and sketchy, but god damn it’s gonna be fun.
Here are some snaps of the the Barrie ONT premiere. Jeff Boake flew out to make an appearance!

Jeff Boake and Justen Mackenzie

This guy likes to party, but...

... whooops. He partied a little too hard

Big ups to this guy (Justen): He organized the premiere.
