OK, so I design clothing for a rad lifestyle brand, so obviously I get to be somewhat self indulgent. This hoodie is so me. And the irony is that I’m not really so much of a ‘pink’ kind of girl. But sometimes I want to feel all feminine and pretty, without going way too girlie, you know? Voleurz is well known for their fun use of colour, and I think we nailed it with this pink; it’s fun and feminine but with a bit of attitude. Again with the self indulgent designer bit…I bike around, a lot. This windbreaker is light and very airy thanks to the unique venting system via a hidden mesh under-panel on the back, and it also repels water very well. And by ‘it repels water very well’, I mean: I bike a lot in Vancouver, rain or shine, and I have yet to see this jacket become fully saturated. This piece let’s me feel all technical and sporty without looking TOO technical and sporty. Pretty much everything Bruce comes up with is rad. When I saw his Panic print design, I knew it was the perfect addition to my pocket dress idea. This is another pull it on and you are good to go kind of piece. It is as comfy as wearing a tee or a tank, but it’s long enough to wear alone and just the right length to still be paired with tights and a cardigan or hoodie if you want to. The front pockets go into the bottom of a diamond shape that is set into each side.
